Recycling bin cleaning, added to any plan
Sticky soda, beer and food residue cleaned out of your recycling cart, on the same visit as your trash can.

Every clean includes
- The recycling cart washed inside and out with 200-degree water
- Dried soda, juice and beer residue dissolved from the bottom and walls
- Lid, hinge and wheels scrubbed along with the cart body
- Biodegradable, hospital-grade sanitizer on every surface
- Light deodorizing, so the cart does not smell of old cans and cartons
- Rinse water pumped into our truck tank, not onto your street
- A photo by text covering both your recycling cart and your trash can
Why recycling bin cleaning matters more than people expect
Recycling looks clean and is not. Cans, bottles and cartons go in with a splash of soda, beer or juice still in them. Over a week in a Horry County driveway, that sweet residue sits in the heat, ferments and draws fruit flies, ants and wasps. The cart rarely smells like trash. It smells sour, and that smell is a signal for insects.
Most households rinse their recycling less than they intend to. Rinsing is a fair habit, but it does not wash the bottom of the cart, where liquid pools and dries into a sticky layer. A hose will not lift that layer, and cold water spread over a sandy driveway just moves it toward the storm drain.
Hot water solves it. We lift the cart onto the rig, run 200-degree water through the interior and over the lid and hinge, sanitize and deodorize it, then set it back where you keep it. Our guide on why your trash can smells after pickup explains the same residue process, which applies to recycling carts as well.
How adding a recycling cart to your plan works
There is no separate recycling plan. You add the cart to whatever service you already have, and it is priced as an additional can. On the monthly plan that is $10 (sample) per cart. On the every-three-months plan it is $12 (sample), and on a one-time deep clean it is $15 (sample).
Recycling and trash do not always go out on the same day. Recycling may be emptied on a different day than trash, depending on your hauler. Tell us when you book which day your recycling is emptied, and we clean it after your hauler comes. If you are not sure of your schedule, ask us and we will help you find the official source, such as City of Conway or Horry County Solid Waste Authority.
Cleaning recycling alongside your trash cart means one text, one photo and one invoice. It also keeps both cans in the same condition, which matters if flies are already finding their way from one lid to the other.
What we do and do not clean in recycling carts
We wash the cart, not the recycling. Your hauler empties it first, and we clean the empty cart. If glass or loose material is left inside, bag or remove it and set it beside the cart. We cannot clean a cart that has not been emptied.
We do not repair carts. A cracked or warped recycling cart can leak water during the wash, and a missing lid cannot be replaced by us. Tell us when you book if yours is damaged, and we will tell you honestly what to expect. Carts that belong to the county or the hauler should be replaced by them.
If your recycling cart is not clean and odor-free when we leave, tell us within 48 hours and we come back and clean it again at no charge. Browse the residential trash can cleaning page to see what the full visit looks like for your trash cart.

Questions about recycling bin cleaning
No. Tell us when your recycling is emptied, and we clean it after that pickup. If your recycling goes out on a different day than your trash, ask us how to schedule both.
The recycling cart is priced as an add-on to a plan, not as a standalone service. Call (843) 222-0207 and ask us what is possible for your situation.
Even a rinsed bottle leaves a few drops, and over a week they pool and dry at the bottom. The sweet film attracts flies and ants. A hot wash dissolves it and removes the draw.
Recycling carts are priced as additional cans: $10 (sample) on monthly, $12 (sample) every three months and $15 (sample) on a one-time deep clean. No setup fee is added.
Yes. The lid, hinge and wheels are washed on every cart. Those are the places where grime and insects settle, so they get the same hot water as the inside of the cart.
Book once. We handle every trash day after that.
